Home Guards Organization Angul is functioning just behind the Fire Station, Angul and beside Forest Training Collage at Soubhagyanagar, Angul. This office is running in its own building and infrastructures. The sanctioned strength of paid staff of this organization is given below.

The total sanctioned strength of Home Guards of this organization is 535. Out of which the sanctioned strength for policing is 501 and 24 HGs have been sanctioned for 8 Fire Station at the rate 3 each. 10 HGs have been sanctioned for Talcher, GROP.

The post wise sanctioned strength of Home Guards are given below.

The term of service of a Home Guards is 3 years. After completion of 3 years tenure one has to discharged from membership of the Organization. It is completely a voluntary organization. The Home Guard volunteers are paid with Rs.220/- (Two Hundred twenty Rupees) Only for more than 8 hours service in a day. Rs.25/- (Twenty five Rupees) Only are being paid as washing allowances per month. Clothing and web equipments for duty are being issued to each Home Guard volunteer as admissible as per life scale fixed.
